About Me

My name is Gina Love-Aguilar and I was born in Omaha, NE, but, was raised all over the U.S. and the world, as I was an army brat during the Vietnam war. I enjoyed this upbringing very much, as, I was able to experience many cultures and lands. I looked forward to moving every one to two years.

I studied piano for a time at the age of 14. Then, I took it up again at the age of 46 with the teacher: Denise Kolar. I have studied with her for 5 years. I am now studying piano performance and composition under Dana Andreason. I have been with him for the last several years.

I began composing in 2008 after studying piano only 2 years.

Up to this date, I have made three self produced albums of light contemporary piano and keyboard music. I think of my music as the kind that you can come home from a hard day’s work, turn on your streaming service, select my music, and just kick back, and drift off into a beautiful dreamland.
